Brrrrr! It is sooooo cold here in Texas! It has been sleeting and in the 20's the last several days so I decided to pull out my Happy Winter set...........it's brand new and never been inked! Amy Rysavy inspired me with a card she did with this set. I used linen on the background (which is hard to see) then stamped the snowflakes in craft white. The trees are stamped in handsome hunter. I didn't want to pair it with the usual red and green so I added so saffron and WW instead. YEP, I used the scallop punch again - I swear to you I can't put it down! LOL I sponged the scallop circle and the edges of the card with close to cocoa. I like the way it turned out, I think I will make a few more of these and put them back for christmas :)
It's Cold Here!

Brrrr is right. It's cold here in Chicago too and has been snowing most of the day. This card is so cute. I'm right there with you about the scalloped punch. I can't believe I didn't purchase it sooner. Stay Warm Girlfriend!!!!
Well, you sure are getting good use of your scallop punch! I just LOVE mine as well. It was 5 degrees here in Central Oregon this morning!! But, we STILL don't have snow. :( It's such a bummer to be that cold with no fun white stuff to play in!! Anyway, you've inspried me to get out my Brrr set and make another wintery card. :0) I love the way you sponged on the edges of card and circle...I never think of that! *hitting forehead* hehehe
I love that!! I am wondering now if I have that set tucked away somewhere....
Cute card! It's supposed to snow lots here tonight... I guess that means no school tomorrow.
Another great looking card...my scallop punches are finally coming this week, so look out!
Brrr! 20 degrees in Texas...yuck! My kids are dying for another day off! Adorable snowman you have there! And as always love the scalloped punch!
Lovely card. Hadn't thought about using the trees all over the punch - that's really neat.
Cold here too! Don't know if you still live in your hometown, but if you do I'm not very far from there.
Thanks for all the inspiration - you keep me going!
