Hello all my crafty friends!  I haven't forgotten about you, my plate is just really full at the moment.  I still work full-time and I started back to school last year.  While it has been very exciting, it is also so much work.  I don't get much time to craft anymore.  My craft room calls to me everyday and I never seem to be able to find the time.  Here is a recent picture of my crafty space, since I haven't shared one in a while.

Even though I haven't been able to find the time to do what I do best, it hasn't stopped me from purchasing all my favorite stamping things every month. 😀   I bought this stamp set a while ago and made this card for my daughter.  It's from My Favorite Things, which is one of my favorite stamp companies!  How cute is this mermaid?  I colored her with my Copic Markers and put a little shimmer on her using my Wink of Stella brush pen.  LOVE!

I have so many new stamp sets that I just can't wait to use. The cuteness overload that all my favorite stamp companies are coming out with are just amazing!  I'm going to have to take a day off work soon so that I can just craft all day and put some of these new products to use.

I will be back as soon as I can with a new creation!  Have a wonderful crafty day, everyone!

We Go Together!

Hello all My Crafty Friends - Happy Sunday!  I think I've created my most favorite valentine yet using this supah cute stampset from Lil' Inker Designs....OMG aren't the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches just the cutest things ever?!    I saw a card on Instagram not too long ago designed by my friend Lisa Henke, and her card is the reason that I purchased this set!
I chose the Grape Fizz Trendy Twine for this project and I think it looks fantastic!!  I'm loving the color scheme too!  I also used MFT Dienamics Blueprints's my go to set at the moment! lol

I used Ranger Glossy Accents on the peanut butter and jelly to give them a little shine - they look adorable!!  I'm a Glossy Accents addict! (and Wink of Stella too lol)

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my design.  I'll be back in a few days with some more projects I have been working on! Have a fabulous Sunday!

More Than The Sun Shines

Hello and Happy Saturday Morning Crafty Friends, I'm back with another super cute Valentine's Day card to share with you.  I'm Guest Designing for the next few days over at the Trendy Twine Blog and have been putting together some great projects.
I so love making cards for Valentine's Day - the chance to tell/show someone just how much you love them by giving something handmade is one of my favorite things to do!  Especially for my girls and my hubby! :)

I put together this fun and colorful card using Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine to "tie" it all together.  I'm LOVING this stamp set and fabulous Dienamics from MFT Stamps!! I decided to place the heart diecut in the middle of the sun and run it through my cuttlebug, then diecut another heart from the red cardstock and place it inside the sun...I love it...I think it just pops!  I used the MFT Staggered Hearts Stencil for the background - I soooo love this stencil - a little bit of ink on my Ranger Blending Tool and voila!

I hope you enjoyed this little peek of my Valentine design.  All the supply links I used on my project are listed below.  (a little enabling - you're welcome!)
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a fabulous Saturday and come back tomorrow for another cutie patootie project I'll be sharing with you!  :)

A Valentine Shaker and a Big Hello

Good Morning all my crafty friends!  I haven't blogged in what seems like forever!  The last time I posted was back in November....what??!  Didn't seem like it's been that long!  I was so busy during the holidays and my card designing (aside from my Christmas cards was down to a minimum)   But it's the start of a new year and I'm back and feeling refreshed!  I didn't share any of my Christmas designs here - so forgive me if I do a little throwback in the next week and show you what I made while I was away from my blog! lol
I'm Guest Designing for the Trendy Twine blog for the next couple of days!  The sweet and gracious Lesley approached me several months back and asked if I would be interested in Guest Designing, I told her I would be honored to hang out with all the lovely trendy twine ladies for a few days and share a few of my creations using that YUMMY baker's twine! I am loving how this card turned out - and I love shakers!
I love designing for Valentine's  and this is one of my favorite color combinations.  I designed this card using the MFT I Love You More and Mama Elephant Carnival Cupcakes Stampsets.  For the Shaker Heart I used the MFT Pierced Heart Stax, Pretty Pink Posh Sequins and some 3M foam double sided tape.    I polished off the card with Trendy Twine's Totally Red and Strawberry Cupcake baker's this stuff!  They have 81 different "flavors", if you don't have any of this fantastic baker's twine run on over and grab some - I posted the link below!
Don't you just love the little bears from the Mama Elephant Carnival Cupcakes set??  I've had this set for quite a while and thought it would go perfectly with this Valentine shaker!

These colors just go perfectly together and I think the baker's twine really polishes it off!!  Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous day!  I will be back tomorrow with another yummy Valentine design.
