Birthday Blooms
I have been behind in posting my creations - wait let me re-phrase that - I have been way behind in not only posting, but creating! *wink* I sat down last night and created this cute card (actually a set of 4) that will be put into a goodie basket filled with a post-it-note holder, a beaded pen and an altered notebook. It's for a benefit and will be raffled off. I love, love, love my Big Blooms set from the SU! Spring Mini - it has become one of my fave sets! I got my inspiration for the cute little grass sprigs at the bottom from the amazing Debbie Olson - she rocks! You take the stem, turn it upside down and stamp along the bottom - voila - grass! I have gotten a ton of Blogger RAK's - they are amazing! For all of you that have sent them to me, I thank you a million - I PROMISE I will get them posted on here, I definitely want to show them off - I'm just BEHIND! :)

I'm not MIA!

I have been saying for a couple of weeks now that I have been swamped with card orders, tin orders and swap cards and haven't had much time to breathe - well here is one of the cards I have been working on. This wedding invitation is for a friend of mine and Robyn's that is getting married in June. I was asked to come up with a couple of card choices for her and this is the one that she chose. There are 100 of these to complete and I'm halfway there. I love Blush Blossom and Vanilla - they are so elegant looking. The inside of the card will contain a sheet of vellum with the wedding info. on it - I will get to that in the next week or so. Once these are completed we have to get started on the RSVP cards that will be included. Today is stamp club meeting day and I decided to go with a tri-fold card project for everyone - I will share that card with you in the next day or two. I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!

I finally had a few spare moments to create somethin' cute for Hambo Stamps, I have been falling behind in my design team duties!! I have been supah, supah busy and haven't known whether I am coming or going. *ugggh* I absolutely loved this slice of cake when I saw it and knew I had to have it - and that sentiment just goes perfectly with it! I don't want to be an enabler..........what am I talking about sure I do........go to hambostamps.com and get your cake slice stamp and this adorable sentiment to go with it! Tell Monica that Kendra sent you! The background paper was created with background stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms - the reverse polkadot background and the polkadot background (looks just like DP doesn't it?).......Debbie Olson enabled me to buy them!!! Thanks Debbie :) I got my new papertrey stamps in the mail a couple of days ago and I am hoping to get the chance to play with them soon!

This adorable Bella Birthday card was sent to me by none other than Kirsten Dubosque, a good blogger friend of mine! Is this not just the cutest bella card evah? I love this card and I so love that you sent it to me for my birthday! *hugz girl*

These are the two card tins that I had to finish tonight - they have to be delivered tomorrow. I am super happy with the way these turned out. They are filled with 15 different cards for birthday, friendship and thank you. My co-worker ordered these for birthday gifts, I hope she loves them as much as I do. It feels really great to get something accomplished, but then I realize I still have a ton of work ahead of me. :) Robyn and I will be getting started on Wedding Invitations for our girlfriend - about 200 to be exact! We have several weeks to get them completed. She and I are also attending the Arlington Shoebox Swap that Emily and Jackie are hosting the end of this month - we still have to come up with a card for that card swap - oh my - and neither of us have a clue as to what we are going to design!

Hambo Flower Thanks

Yet another cute card I designed for Hambo Stamps! I love this little flower pot - the pot and the flower are separate stamps (there are two other flowers that go with it!) I absolutely loooovvveee cool caribbean and chocolate chip together - two of my fav's! I made extra's of this card to put in some lunchpail tins that I am altering. Cute stuff! I adore my cuttlebug - the embossing folders just completely change the look of a card. :) I am trying to work on some new stuff to post, but I have been soooooo swamped with card orders, lunchtin orders and swap cards that I can't even see straight! I always overcommit myself, but I wouldn't have it any other way - I think I work better under pressure!

This is another dahling stamp from Hambo Stamps! It is actually just a single cupcake - I masked and stacked the cupcakes. I think they are so cute that way! Love, love, love the cuttlebug background embossing folders - they rock! I watercolored the cupcakes with my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol - then added stickles to the sprinkles.

This card is perfect to add to my birthday card stash - I have been running low.
