Happy 4th of July Week

Yet another Monday, but this is a short work week and that makes me happy! Bring on the weekend and all the festivities that go along with it!  So looking forward to the break, time with family and some good food!  I have been so busy this past week I haven't had a chance to post....I spent some time cleaning my craft room and getting all my stamps and dies organized....I bought some really awesome stamp and die storage pockets from Avery Elle - they are the bomb!  You get 25 pockets for $9.00 - a great value!  I got a couple of packages and now all my stamps/dies are organized!

I bought several of these cute baskets at the dollar store for $3 each- and these pockets fit in there nicely!!  Here's one of my baskets with some of my stamps all neat and organized....I used my label maker and labeled the names of all my stamp sets - they look so good and are easy to find!  :)

Tomorrow is the first day of my Guest Design Spot with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.....and I'm so excited about that!  The new releases for July are super cute - and all the lovely Krafty Girls I get to work with are just fabulous!!

Have a great evening and I'll be back in a few days with some more krafty goodness! :)

It's Monday Again

Hello all my Crafty Friends......it's Monday yet again....I'm not a Monday person, but I'm definitely a Monday afternoon person! :)    I'm already looking for the weekend, love some time off to be able to do the things we want to do (and to craft of course).

I spent this past Saturday having some fabulous fun with girls over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps....at their Facebook Krafty Krop....it was so much fun!!!   Loved chatting with all the ladies and of course getting some inspiration and making some supah cute cards.  Here is one of the cards I created - which I am also going to enter in one of their Challenges. :)

This Kraftin' Kimmie stampset, Our Friendship is Tweet, is actually a winter set - it has snowflakes, that's a coat she's wearing and she also has a winter hat on.....I wanted to put my own spin on it and turn it into a summer scene....so I left off the snowflakes, no sleeves on the coat and I paper pieced her hat so it looks like a bandana! :)  Really love the way it turned out!

I hope everyone had a great day and I'll be back in a day or two with another cute design.   If your blog is on Networked Blogs - follow me!!!  Also, if you haven't already, I'm on Facebook - so come Like my Page....Inkin' It Up with Kendra

Baby Love

Hello!  What a fantastic Friday - Me and the hubby had the day off today and while he was doing some maintenance on my car this morning, I hid out in my craft room finishing up all my Father's Day cards!  Oh how I love the way they turned out, can't wait to show you what I put together....can't show them yet since some of my family members read my blog and my Inkin' It Up with Kendra FB page.  I'll post them in a few days.....

Until then here is a supah cute card that I made for a card order.....I LOVE making baby cards (I don't get to make them enough) they are just so stinkin' cute.  I used the Lots to Say stampset from Reverse Confetti - I use these sentiments a lot, they are just the bomb!

On another note, I'm soooo excited about my Guest Design Team spot for Kraftin Kimmie Stamps - I'll be making my appearance for the July releases......can't wait for that Happy Mail to hit my mailbox.

I'll be back in a day or two to share a few more cards - gonna spend some time with my love and watch movies!

Happy Happy Monday!

It's Monday and normally I'm not really feeling it, but this morning I got some great news and found out that I am going to be a Guest Designer/Krafty Kover Girl for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!   So excited for the opportunity!  I've been out of the Design Team limelight for quite some time and am ready to jump back in with both feet!  Thanks so much Kim, I appreciate it and can't wait to get those goodies and get to work!!

On another note, I went to Hobby Lobby on Saturday to get a few goodies (okay, so I got a lot of goodies LOL) my hubby talked me into getting the 3M Scotch Advanced Tape Glider - been wanting it, but just didn't want to spend that kind of money....I've always used the small tape runners that run out about every 4th card heehee......I LOVE IT!!!  It's awesome....will take a little getting used to because I'm so used to the small ones...best purchase ever!

I'll be back in a day or two with a few more of my card designs I worked on last week.....this week it's time to get to work and finish up my father's day cards!

Congrats!!

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great Sunday afternoon!  I'm not feeling that great today...but I have a few designs that I worked on this past week for some card orders and wanted to share them with ya'll.   I did several graduation cards and had fun designing these and working with the school colors :)

On the cute graduation boy card I used a digital stamp image Grad Boy from Whimsie Doodles, I just found them on Facebook the other day and just love their images - they also have acrylic stamps as well as the digital....they are all just fabulous....I'll be getting more of those! :)

For my graduation girl card I used Pure Innocence Graduation Girl from MFT Stamps....I love her and used her on several of my graduation projects.   I have a few more graduation cards to share this week....then it's on to a few more designs using some fabulous new stamps I just received in the mail...lots more crafty goodness coming soon!!

Can't wait to find out about the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Guest Designer spot - I submitted a card last week....there have been some fantastic submissions so I know it's gonna be hard decision for Kim.  If you don't have any of her awesome stamps, go get you some - they are wonderful!  :)

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday to get a few items and I got a new "tool" that I just love....I'll be back to share that too....I just love it, can't believe I didn't think about getting it sooner....see you soon...have a great Sunday and GO SPURS GO!!  :)
