Oh, Christmas Tree!

Hello all my Crafty friends and Happy Wednesday!   I'm back with another fabby Christmas card design using the Pretty Cute Stamps October Release Oh, Christmas Tree!  I so enjoyed all the Halloween festivities, but it's nice to finally be in Christmas mode!  I LOVE making Christmas goodies!

This set is awesome and has so many great stamps!  I stamped the Christmas tree three times and then cut each section of the tree so that I could pop it up and make it look more three-dimensional.  Then I colored and stamped all the ornaments....it took a little bit more work, but the end result looks awesome!

I used a couple of different snowflake stamps from the Christmas Cheer set, stamped them in versamark ink, used some white embossing powder and my heat gun and voila a pretty background of falling snowflakes.  They are so much prettier in person!  I used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on everything....it gives it so much sparkle!  Then I used some Ranger Glossy Effects on all the ornaments and the star.

Look at all those fabulous trimmings for the tree!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous day!  This set and the rest of the October Release are available in the Pretty Cute Stamps store....if you haven't seen them all yet, then run over and check them out!  I'll be back soon with some more Christmas inspiration - I've gotten a lot of happy mail lately from some really great companies!!

PCS October 2014 Stamp Release Hop

Hello and Happy Hump Day my Crafty Friends!  Welcome to the Pretty Cute Stamps October Release Blog Hop!  Myself and the other fabulous Design Team Members have been working on some really fantastic projects to share with you today!  I decided to design a cute little Christmas treat bag using "Oh, Christmas Tree" - love this set!  I decided to keep it fairly simple and I think it works! :)

I colored the Tree, Star and the Present with my Copic Markers and then did a little fussy cutting (there are also SVG files available when you purchase the stamps if you prefer not to fussy cut).  I used my Wink of Stella pen all over everything - it gives it such pretty sparkle!!!

Here's a closer look so you can really see the sparkle!

I used my Copic Markers to color this little cutie patootie! The background was stamped using my VersaMark pad....The Wink of Stella Pen gives the image such pretty shimmer....I used white Tulip Puffy Paint and my heat gun for the "pom poms" on the hat, her sleeves and the bottom of the dress.  Love, Love, Love!

We May Be Miles Apart.....

Hello and Happy Wednesday all my crafty friends!!  What a week so far, is it Friday yet?  I've been super busy and haven't been able to have any crafty time the last few days - boo!  But last week I was able to get my fingers inky and pulled out my new Mama Elephant stamp set....for the record can I just say how much I LOVE THESE IMAGES?!  They were so much fun to color and I had even more fun creating this scene!

I used my MFT Sunray Stencil to create the background....love this stencil....so easy to create a cute background!  The panel is popped up on dimensionals as well as the cutie patootie little girl and the butterfly.  I also added Ranger Glossy Accents to the flowers, turtle and butterfly.  I used my Wink of Stella pen to add some shimmer to the little dress.  I made two of these cards and will be sending them out to put a smile on a couple of really special ladies that I love dearly. :)

I have a ton of new Happy Mail from some of my favorite places...also don't forget it's getting close to the Pretty Cute Stamps September Release....and the new images are FABULOUS...can't wait to share what I'm working on with all of you!

Have a great rest of the day and I will be back soon with some more crafty goodness!!

Happy Anniversary Lawn Fawn Style

Happy Saturday all my crafty friends!  I'm loving this weather here today in San Antonio....it's been in the upper 90's....today it's 65!  Sweater and cuddle weather for sure - enjoying it while I can!

At the beginning of the week I posted a little sneak peek on my Instagram and on my Flickr of the card I designed for my hubby for our Anniversary using Lawn Fawn's Love You S'More.....Love this set - you can do so much with it!  Needless to say he LOVED the card!  I love that it has a more masculine side with a little bit of softness to it.

A lot of layers going on here (which I LOVE) - it's my style!  I free-handed the grassy hills, since my other Lawn Fawn diecuts haven't arrived yet (but will soon - yay!) - but I think I did a pretty good job. :)   Everything is popped up on dimensionals - including the bottom two card layers - which gives it so much depth! This was such a treat to color with my Prismacolor Pencils!  I also used my white gel pen to add a little extra something to the bear and the squirrel.  Can't you almost smell the marshmallow roasting? :)

Look at these!!! Aren't they gorgeous?!  A dozen red roses from my hubby delivered to me at work for our anniversary...I just adore them!!!  I now have them on my kitchen table and they smell divine!!!

I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend.....I just cleaned house and am about to go into my crafty room, do a little cleaning, pull out some of my new stamps and get to work!  I will be back in a few days....I designed some really fabby cards using some adorable Mama Elephant stamps!
