Happy Anniversary Lawn Fawn Style

Happy Saturday all my crafty friends!  I'm loving this weather here today in San Antonio....it's been in the upper 90's....today it's 65!  Sweater and cuddle weather for sure - enjoying it while I can!

At the beginning of the week I posted a little sneak peek on my Instagram and on my Flickr of the card I designed for my hubby for our Anniversary using Lawn Fawn's Love You S'More.....Love this set - you can do so much with it!  Needless to say he LOVED the card!  I love that it has a more masculine side with a little bit of softness to it.

A lot of layers going on here (which I LOVE) - it's my style!  I free-handed the grassy hills, since my other Lawn Fawn diecuts haven't arrived yet (but will soon - yay!) - but I think I did a pretty good job. :)   Everything is popped up on dimensionals - including the bottom two card layers - which gives it so much depth! This was such a treat to color with my Prismacolor Pencils!  I also used my white gel pen to add a little extra something to the bear and the squirrel.  Can't you almost smell the marshmallow roasting? :)

Look at these!!! Aren't they gorgeous?!  A dozen red roses from my hubby delivered to me at work for our anniversary...I just adore them!!!  I now have them on my kitchen table and they smell divine!!!

I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend.....I just cleaned house and am about to go into my crafty room, do a little cleaning, pull out some of my new stamps and get to work!  I will be back in a few days....I designed some really fabby cards using some adorable Mama Elephant stamps!

Happy Wednesday....You Color My World

Hello all my Crafty Friends....Happy Wednesday!  I'm back after a wonderful 4 day weekend - great to have a little time off and get several card projects completed.   Here is a super cute card I designed using Pretty Cute Stamps.  I used two different sets on this design - Color My World and The Write Stuff.  I love these crayons and you can choose what faces (if any) you want to add!! :)

The globe was an afterthought....I was looking for a little something else to add and then it dawned on me "The Globe", I decided to stamp it and leave it uncolored....I love what it adds to the card! :)

Here is a little close up where you can see all the sparkle (I used my clear Wink of Stella pen) and all the dimension and layers.

My Pretty Cute Stamps Design Team Happy Mail for September's Release has already arrived and OMG, they are fabulous!!  I can't wait to start showing you sneaky peeks of those!!!  You are going to love the new designs, they are fabulous! :)

I'll be back soon with lots more crafty goodness - I've gotten so much happy mail lately and I've been diving in and creating some really great stuff!  Have a great day!  :)

CKC San Marcos and a Baby Card

Hello all my wonderful crafty friends and Happy Friday!  I have had a wonderful day today.....I spent the day at the Creating Keepsakes Convention in San Marcos, Texas and ohhhhh was it wonderful!  So many booths, so much crafty goodness, so many people and so little time!!  I loaded up with several fabulous goodies and had a great time with my mom!  I took a few pictures of the festivities....but before I get to that I want to share a card with you that I made a few days ago using my MFT Stamps/Dienamics and some Reverse Confetti Confetti Cuts!

I used MFT Beautiful Baby for this card....love this set!!  There are so many cute stamps and I love being able to use the dies to cut everything out - easy peasy!  The Scallop and Circle die are from Reverse Confetti....lately this has been my go to die....so versatile! :)

Here's a close up where you can really see the Ranger Glossy Accents that I added...another item that I love to use!

Now back to CKC....OMG it was such a blast!!  Had so much fun!  I found The Stamps of Life booth and got to meet Stephanie Barnard....she is so super nice and so down to earth - it was great getting to meet her - her booth was supah busy and there were people everywhere! :)  Here's a couple of pictures of our excursion, plus a pic of some of the goodies I picked up along the way!

I hope you all have a Fabulous Friday and a great weekend....I'll be back soon with some more crafty goodness!

Owl You Doin?

Hello my crafty friends and Happy Wednesday!
I've been so busy with work and also in my craft room over the last week...I've gotten several cards done, but here is one that I am really loving!  I decided to go with a more simple design, which is really hard for me, I love to have a lot going on!  :)  I used "Chick with Brains" - one of the new August Releases from Pretty Cute Stamps - love this image!

The little bow is a separate stamp (which you can use for a bowtie or a hairbow!), I stamped it on some patterned paper, cut it out and then glued it on....love it!

I used my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol (one of my favorite mediums of choice)  After I got her all colored and cut out, I used Ranger Glossy Accents to add some dimension to her glasses...makes them look so real! :)

I'm really happy with the way it turned out and I'm really lovin' this color combo (saw it on a pinterest board).  The center frames (my new diecuts from Simon Says Stamps - link below in my supplies) are popped up on dimensionals for a little extra depth.

Here is another close up:

Thanks for looking and I hope this gives you a little bit of inspiration....if you haven't grabbed this set yet, run over and get it!  Don't forget to stop by the Pretty Cute Stamps FB page, like us and also post your PCS designs - we'd love to see what you've come up with!

Have a fabulous day - I'll be back soon with more crafty goodness!
